Hey, y'all welcome back to my channel.

My name is tashara.

And if you're new here, my channel is all about lifestyle fashion and travel.

So if you're new here, make sure you subscribe like this video as well as share it, okay, but let's go ahead and get into the video.

So today I wanted to focus on skin care, specifically, the brand urban skin rx, which has been getting like a lot of publicity both good and bad.

So I just wanted to go ahead and try out one of their systems for a month and see how my skin reacted.

So before we get into this video, I just want to let you guys know that my skin is oily.

Um, it is slightly blemish prone like I break out on my chin.

When my periods about to come on, I break out along my hairline, just depending on my edge control and oils that I put in my hair sometimes on my face and other places.

If I don't change my pillowcase when I should be doing that.

So if I'm taking care of my skin, um, keeping my hairline clean and things like that.

I don't really break out so that's, my skin it's, not sensitive, it's, a really nice desert.

My my skin can handle a lot of stuff.

So I bought the urban skin rx products from ulta.

I bought, I think they're all called even tones so just fyi.

But I bought the blue kind, I bought their cleansing bar, which comes with their exfoliating sponge.

It comes with two of them.

Um, I also bought their super glow serum, which has vitamin c and kojic acid.

I believe it's kojic, it's, spelled, kojic, whatever I can't pronounce, nothing.

Okay.

Fyi, um.

I also bought their moisturizer, which also comes with sps fps.

Fpf.

Damn.

I cannot talk spf, 30.

Okay.

So I bought these three products.

They also had, um like a retinol like rapid repair dark spot treatment.

And I didn't really understand how to use it like within the system, or like the point of it at the time.

So I did not pick that up.

But that is something that is also available to including your system.

So initially I was just going to buy this serum, because I heard amazing things about this serum, um.

But when I went to ulta, and I was trying to piece together.

My skin care system.

I was like, you know, what forget it I'm just going to buy all urban rx and just use these three products because I don't know much about skin care like I'm, not gonna lie like I just want skincare to be easy.

And I wanted to like simplify my routine because, um, if you follow me on instagram, or if you check out my instagram you'll see that I've tried try out several different skincare products.

And my skincare routine was becoming way, too complicated.

When I would travel like, I would have like a huge bag of skincare products and it's like no like I wanted to simplify my routine.

And also like before, I picked up these products, my skin kind of felt rough.

And I think I was using too much.

And so I had to like detox my skin for a little bit just didn't wash my face, which sounds so nasty.

But I didn't wash my face for a few days, and then I went to go pick up these products and ever since then my skin has been doing great.

So let's, go ahead and get into how my skin is doing.

So I tried this for a month, and my skin has improved a lot.

Okay, I'm going to insert some pictures.

So you guys can see the before.

And after of my skin, it has cleared up a lot.

So I had like, um, some dark marks on my nose, because I had broken on my nose for whatever reason and probably not like washing my face, or you know, taking my makeup off just sleeping in my makeup or whatever.

So I broke up broke out on my nose.

But in my pictures, it looks like that cleared up a lot.

Okay, um.

Also.

My dark marks on my cheeks.

And my forehead have lightened up quite a bit.

My skin is so smooth.

Okay, my skin is literally in one of the in the best condition.

It has been in a long time.

So I've heard a lot of people say they've broken out while using the skincare system that did not happen to me at all like I said, my skin is not sensitive at all.

But if you want to try this system and you're skin sensitive, I would suggest doing like a patch test first, okay, um, definitely do like a patch test on your face don't, put it all over your face, because you don't know how your skin is going to react to it.

Okay.

So definitely just test it out for a little bit just to see how your skin will handle it.

And like I said, like I'm, not like super like knowledgeable about skincare, all only really know like really basic things.

But I do really like this serum, the super glow serum because it comes with the kojic acid.

Um in the vitamin c.

I read that like kojic acid is really good for dark skin, tones because vitamin c doesn't like penetrate our skin, deep enough to lighten it and lighten our dark dark marks, which is one reason why a lot of people like urban skin rx is, um, super glow.

Serum so I like every single thing in their lineup one thing about using the skin care system is that if I do apply makeup after I use it.

My skin seems a lot more oily.

And I don't know if it's because of the skin care system because of the foundation I'm using or the primer I'm using because I am trying a new primer.

So I don't know, but I am trying to like switch things around and see, um, what is happening like? So one thing I didn't really like about the product is that they only include two of these sponges with their cleansing bar.

And you have to use a sponge in order to use the cleansing bar.

Um, I do feel like it will be a lot more sanitary to replace these on a weekly basis.

That's my opinion, um.

So the fact that you have to maybe potentially go out and buy more sponges.

I kind of feel like that's rip off like they do sell them on the website, I'm, not sure if they sell them at ulta, I would have to go and check and see, but they need to give us a lot more.

Because if I have to purchase more stuff, just to be able to continue to use this one product, I don't feel like that's, you know, I'm getting the most from my money.

You know what I'm saying.

So I also used one of their other systems in the past it's, the gray one, I think that one is specifically for acne, I'm, not sure why I picked that up, because I don't typically always have active acne.

It was too strong for my face.

I kind of feel like it stripped my face a little bit, which is saying a lot because my skin is oily, um.

So I I stopped using it after a few maybe like a week or two.

So I stopped using it, um.

But I do.

So that was that formula was too strong for me.

But I do like this formula here with the blue packaging, I'm going to keep using it for a few more months and then come back and do like a three month update just to show you guys how much more my skin has cleared up, because I am extremely satisfied with the results that I am received.

I have received so far.

So with that being said, that is the end of this video.

Let me know if you have tried urban skin rx.

If you have, let me know your experiences with it.

If you haven't are you willing to try it out, let me know in the comments.
