From the moment our first Leonberger came into our house we want to breed our own puppy’s. So we have to had a name for our kennel.
Often it is so that you don’t know the meaning of the kennel name.

We have chosen the name "Of Usquebaugh".
I will try to explain where this name is from

Usquebaugh is a twelfth-century word for,
in Latin "aque vitae",
in French "eau de vie"
and the Scottish en Irish "
uisgebeathe" or "usquebaugh"
water of life, as well as a synonym for whiskey.

These names from the Gaelic language sound as uisghi and became whisky.
